Autism is unpredictable, varying from person to person and case to case. But one thing that is certain is that any family who has been directly affected by it has their own powerful and often moving story to share. And we want to hear yours. In 1000 words or less, tell us what your experience has been - from highs to lows and everything in between…well, everything within 1000 words!

Your submission will be considered for use in upcoming publications and promotions in the Appreciating Autism series. The top five stories will also receive autographed copies of the first book in the series, Unique as Pete: How Autism Doesn't Mean Different, which is now available at www.authorhouse.com or at your favorite book retailer (if they don't have any available, be sure to ask the store to order some).
